the path to hope
My new project, "Path to Hope," a silent book about a child and his toy-bag, Yellow Rabbit, was born from the complicated and painful reality that gripped Israel after October 7th. Interestingly, the project began as a response to the Inktober challenge, where a daily word prompt sparked a series of drawings.
As I illustrated these words, a narrative began to emerge, becoming a way for me to process and express the intense emotions of that time. Within this journey, the Yellow Rabbit evolves from a seemingly helpless toy into a conscious helper, and the tragic events unfolding in Israel during that month found their metaphorical reflection in the story. This story is a reflection of my feelings, my pain, and the enduring hope that all people will return to their homes safely.
