This series explores a soft and quiet aesthetic in depictions of combined faces and hands, forming a kind of hybrid entity or partially formed being.

 

Rendered in pencil, with some works incorporating acrylic to add texture and emphasize materiality in contrast to transparency, the entire series is created on cream A4 paper, whose tone contributes to a sense of gloom and a semitone effect. The underlying theme remains the exploration of madness.
